What inspired you to pursue a career in travel?
I’ve always loved travel and the thrill of discovering new destinations, accommodations, activities, and sights to see. I loved the idea of having a job that allows me to do all of this for clients.
What is your favorite destination you’ve travelled to so far and why?
India: Everything about it was incredible – the food, the culture, sightseeing, and the shopping. There is always something to do, and it’s just such a vibrant place. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience something completely different.
How would you describe the company culture at Pentravel and what do you enjoy most about working at Pentravel?

What is your top sales tip?
Communication is Key! Staying connected with clients throughout the quoting and booking process, as well as checking-in to welcome them when they return from their trip, shows them that you truly care and that they aren’t just a number.
What is your favourite thing about your job?
Putting together a quote on some of the less popular destinations. Researching the routes, the hotels, and things to do is always exciting as you learn a lot at the same time.
What advice would you give to those eager to kickstart a career in travel or anyone just starting out in the industry?
Your team’s knowledge and experience is invaluable, don’t be afraid to ask questions. You don’t have to have travelled to a destination to know a lot about it. First-hand knowledge is great, but you can learn a lot just from doing some research.
